Being an ocean apart from home has forced me to learn about soooo many things. Cooking is one of them. I remember those days I always avoid going to the kitchen to make some food. I did bake some cupcakes two times, making Kimbab and Sushi and Fried Rice back then at home. But that's it. I never challenged myself to cook more complicated meals such as Soto Ayam. Chicken soup which is served with beansprouts, cabbage slices, and hard-boiled egg. It seems easy to cook, but actually it took a pretty advanced effort to make a bowl of (edible) yummy Soto Ayam. Despite all the limitations I have faced here, I mean, finding the right spices, I am proud enough that I nail this one on my very first attempt!
